Supported by mature measurement, replicated findings, standards or authoritative technical guidance.
Example · Web Audio signal format; hearing anatomy; medical ultrasound imaging.Credible studies show an effect, but replication, sample size, mechanism or practical relevance remains limited.
Example · Selected clinical outcomes from particular auditory interventions.Studies point in different directions or vary enough that a broad conclusion would be misleading.
Example · Many claims about binaural beats and cognition.A hypothesis, tradition, subjective report or early observation worth discussing without presenting it as fact.
Example · Personal listening responses and untested frequency associations. We prioritise original research papers, systematic reviews, recognised standards and public-health or regulatory institutions. A commercial summary may help locate a study, but it does not replace it.
Frequency alone is rarely enough. We record waveform, delivery method, level, duration, sample, comparator and outcome whenever the source provides them.
Association is not causation. A statistically significant result is not automatically large, clinically useful or applicable to every listener.
